Girls at
UK Shaved. Another site we've been aware of for some time but
thought it would be best to review this site at a later stage such is
the high standard of material on offer on this site.

We're not giving anything away on this review in the early stages but
the first sentence above kind of gives an idea of what we've got in
front of us here. But like all other sites, we will be ruthless and
relentless in our approach, any weaknesses will be cuttingly exposed,
any strengths will be shouted from the rooftops. We don't care who or
what or how special the site is..thats our style....now on with the
Review
With an Alexa ranking of around 3110 at the time of writing (Jan 08)
this site in visitor levels terms is just shy of the Twistys and
Danni.com's
out there so it's a biggie and therefore before even visiting the site,
there must be something here that has a huge volume of people wanting
and needing to see it!! It has to be said early on this is quality
softcore, all girls site, there's no hardcore!
Model count at the time of writing was billed at 1000+ so certainly in
the same league on that count as the other giants such as Suze Net,
Twistys and Danni.com. With the promise of frequent updates, and a
photographer with 20 years high end nude model photographic experience
including Playboy and Penthouse ( still shoots for Penthouse
occasionally) and we have to say joining this site was starting to
creep in at the back of the mind at a very early stage such
was the initial impact of Digital Desire on the senses.

Digital Desire Web Site:
On landing on the main page you just know this is going to be special,
and
you'll be stopped dead in your tracks by whatever beauty has
been put on the main landing page at the time, the reviewer certainly
was, and had to tear himself away reluctantly to the next page!
The site has got a cutting edge. classy modern feel to it, has clean
lines, and easy uncluttered
navigation, and has that high end "this is the site,this is the one"
style about it without having to try too hard .It subtly invites you to
investigate further, and you just have a
feeling before you even get to the next page this site is
going to
impress like nothing else.
When you do actually get to the next page of the tour you realise the
promise and expectation on the first page is not only realised,, but
goes completely beyond expectation, always a good sign..
You are confonted by a wall of unstoppable female beauty, mainly
teasing shots but highly effective all the same, you soon realise
there's photography and big
name models you've seen elsewhere, BUT
there's
something different going on here, something very different, a factor
you just can't put your finger on, which of course gets you looking
more closely to see what this factor is.
Clicking on a couple of sample sets or seeing any of the girls featured
here, you soon realise there's a factor going on here you will struggle
to find elsewhere. J Stephen Hicks who runs and oversees the site and
photography obviously knows his stuff and with 20 years in the business
it shows! He knows and understands women and what makes them tick, a
rare quality!

 It's very difficult
to put into words this sort of thing but the only way we can describe
this Digital Desire factor or effect is "J
Stephen Hicks manages to capture the very essence of the models female
sexuality and beauty, the very core of what they are all about, and
embraces it and captures it, via staggeringly high quality
photography"
The models here we've seen a lot of them
before, but they just look different, the photographer obviously has a
way with these models that brings out that sensual quality in
them and it's there at every shoot. They look aroused, willing,
radiant, captivating, inviting and they are literally "shining" with a
beauty and sexuality that is completely mesmersing and they have that
jaw dropping wow factor about them on this site, and they seem closer,
something that has to be experienced!
The models look like once they are on set they really are in their
element, and probably want to stay there all day, such is the chemistry
thats going on between model and photographer here, and it's a
chemistry that looks to be highly sexual in nature, again something
rarely seen elsewhere.
It has to be said, the girls here had the reviewer spell bound,
captivated and mesmerised for quite long periods of time only to
realise the model in question has still got quite a bit of clothing on,
such is the power of the photography on this site. Completely nude has
mind blowing results!
With the volume of high quality material viewed at UK Shaved
day in, day out, month in month out you soon realise the impact of that
statement that this is a very special site indeed.

 The
question on everybodies lips is " How does he do it" We really don't
know
but some ideas on this are as follows:
Normally a photographer has to tell a model what to do, the more
professional and experienced she is and he is, the less the
photographer has to do
this. On lesser sites you can almost here the photographer say turn
left, turn right, spread your legs and it shows in the shots. At DD
Girls this is not apparent, it's as if he's known each model personally
for a very long time, which he hasn't!
Some sites produce technically breathtaking shots but the
photographer looks like he's so obsessed in getting that perfect shot,
the model seems to be forgotten, she looks great, but there's something
missing, it just looks posed and lacks personality and sexual zing. At
Digital Desire the
photographer(s) have a natural synergy with the camera so much so it's
as if the camera's not even their for the model, and the result is
natural breathtaking shots supremely focused on the model and bringing
out everything about her, her curves, her personality, her
sexuality with completely mesmerising results.
Lighting on Digital Desire seems to have the edge on a lot of sites
here
which is the all important photographic element and is used to subtle
but deadly effect.
Make up again a powerful ally in the models armoury is done again to
enhance instead of smother the model and add that extra punch but
without the untrained eye even being aware it's even their!

 Site Features
So what has the site got to offer. It has a superb blog for starters,
access to as mentioned before 1000 + models with HQ photo's and HQ
video's. Video's are of the same quality as the photo's and add an
extra dimension and get you really up close and personal with these
models.It's a bit like a HQ live cam show, but which you can play over
and over again, all backed by tasteful music to add a bit of ambience.
All formats including Quick Time for Mac and WMV for Windows are
available. They are punchy, zappy, classy, intimate, slick in
production, very slick and very sexual.
The site has a pretty good Model Bio section nearly as good as the Mac
and Bumble Bios, just doesn't have as many alternative links but still
pretty good all the same and something that is painfully lacking on
some other sites featured at UK Shaved.
There's a J Stephens Hicks model shoot diary page so you can see which
models he's photographing and working with on any given day complete
with a model thumb.
Membership also gets you a back of set pass to see behind the scenes at
Digital Desire, apparently. Only problem is, they are US based, so
unless you
live locally could prove expensive to get their, but for a once in a
lifetime trip, could be something seriously worth considering, had the
reviewer chewing this one over in a contemplative manner and the grey
matter going for quite some time!

 Faults and
Criticisms
With a site this good can there be any faults
and criticisms. There are some but these are so nit picking it looks
bad on us but we're going to say them anyway. Digital Desire uses what
we
call the Sapphic
Erotica effect, which focuses on mild repitition of sexually deadly
techniques that work, but is worth repeating over and over again,
because it's that potent and you just want more of it!!
1. Slight repitition of poses, if you check the gallery there's one
pose that's used its the rear shot with head turned and panties teased
down slightly shot. Totally deadly shot but slightly over used, but
then again it just seems to work and looks completely different
with a different model/set. J Stephen Hicks is more than likely aware
of this and it's done intentionally!!
2. There's a trademark of J Stephen Hicks we haven't seen elsewhere, he
has a few,
every photographer has them, hard to describe, it's a sort of
"zebra
striping with shadows" effect see some of the galleries,
which he uses usually on the more rebellious looking
models, this
again is used freqently but again there's sufficient variation to make
this remark a supreme nit pick.
3. Beds as backdrops with model sitting invitingly on the edge, do
feature prominently on this site, "I'm in the mood, come to
bed,
and lets have some all out wild sex" sort of thing, deadly
and highly effective and it works time and
time again. To most visitors they'll be so focused and reeled in by the
model, and believe me you will, they won't even
notice. J Stephen Hicks knows this!
4. Samples are superb in quality, massive sizes, just some are of the
tease nature and highly censored, something that UK Shaved has to apply
for, an Extended Webmasters Account where's there's as far as we
know more
raunchier sets on offer. |
 Summary
In summary this is one a hell of a site.
Religious names, terms and four letter words we're uttered by the
Reviewer whilst viewing the
photo's, in a mesmerised state, this happens rarely at UK Shaved these
days! Digital Desire impressed
us deeply
with what we would call "moving
material". It's moving on many levels,
it's sexual, mind blowing and hit's all the senses but in a subtle
refined manner. Definetly pushed all the right buttons for us, and this
is another site where joining was becoming an issue very early on in
the review. The photography on offer here is approaching a sort of
photographic genius level, this is obviously J Stephen Hicks life,
capturing female beauty and sexuality and it shows, it really does! He
loves women and more importantly they love him, and love doing what is
ultimately very personal stuff, in front of a J Stephen Hicks DD Girls
camera because they know the end result, and will enjoy being on set,
and
working with this genius to achieve that result!
With a supreme collection of beauties that is steadily being
expanded with even more models, with the photographic
standards on offer here, you will be overwhelmed with choice,
beauty and pure female sexuality in abundance. Viewing of individual
photo's will be measured in at least minutes, and not in rapid click
through surfer style seconds, we can guarantee that! These are pictures
that will stop you dead, and we mean dead, and you will study and
marvel them for what they are.! These photo's are so jump out of the
screen dynamic you will get the rather strange feeling of "who's
looking at who here" when viewing these models. Click on any photo and crank
it up a few notches ie zoom in, to see what
we're talking about. Now thats immediacy and
realism, and very hard to capture and a mind blowingly intense
experience!
With the odd criticism of slight repitition here and there, we have to
counteract this with it's something definetly worth repeating. If you
demand the best, like what is ultimately classy softcore glamour
photography of all the stars, and have a taste for the finer things in
life then this site has got to be for you! It's one of those rare sites
if
you join and then decide after a few months to leave, we can guarantee
you'll be back with withdrawal symptons, such is the quality and
distinctive highly addictive style on offer here.
Although this site is high end we would say it's something that would
appeal to all walks of life and all age groups, it's another female
form appreciation club but with mass appeal, something
you just
have to
join. Being on the outside looking in is just not an option!
Forecast for this site as in ranking at UK Shaved, same as Danni.com
and Met-Art,
Top 3 by definetly top 5 in the
next few months, once she's settled in. Could be THE DADDY at
UK Shaved ie No1,
as we would
say this is a Simonscans
with if possible, even better photography and with STARS as
opposed to Amateurs, with Video production standards in a completely
different league to Simonscans
altogether!.
Amateurs does seem to be the buzzword on the
internet and adult field at the moment, hence Simonscans success
at UK Shaved and in general. This
is the only thing we can see that will hold the DD Girls beauty and
female sexuality power house back, otherwise there's nothing here at UK
Shaved at present capable of stopping it. Only the 3 other sites
mentioned earlier, and one mega
site, that all featured sites currently here at
UK Shaved know they have to bow down to on arrival, due in April 07. As
always time and numbers will tell!!
